Den Lacava

The saxophone has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was 6 years old when I started my years of conservatory, discovering classical music and the conventional approach to my instrument.

In my teenage years, curiosity and the desire to innovate my art led me to discover totally new worlds. Thanks to my old master's library, I had the opportunity to approach Jazz, Funk, Pop, and Rock.

After graduating, I started performing in clubs and during events in Campania, both as a soloist and as a performer with DJs. I also performed with cover bands, where I had the role of a multi-instrumentalist, using Saxophone, Flutes, and Keyboards.

In 2013, I moved to Milan. The Milanese environment immediately opened up different opportunities. So I started an in-depth study of the world of jazz, funk, and electronic music with its different sub-genres.

Attending events, live music, and clubbing scenes throughout Italy, I collaborated with various collectives of musicians, producers, and DJs.
